Appetizers: Jicama with Lime

My new favorite appetizer is simple and healthy.  My thanks go to Judy White for serving this tasty treat.


Serves 2


1/2 jicama, peeled and cut in bite-sized slices, ¼" thick

1 lime, juiced

Sea salt to taste


Spread jicama slices in a thin layer on a large platter.  Pour lime juice over jicama and salt to taste.


Gourmet sea salts, like fleur de sel or grey salt, work well in this recipe.
