Body Treats: Anthony and Cleopatra Milk Bath

Cleopatra was famous for her legendary beauty and soft skin. What modern-day Cleopatra wouldn't want to soak her asp in this delightful concoction?  Surely Anthony will want to join in the fun, too.

Makes 1 bath for 2 people

1 sprig fresh or 1 tbsp dried rosemary

1 sprig fresh or 1 tbsp dried thyme

1 sprig fresh or 1 tbsp dried mint

peel of 2 oranges

peel of 1 lemon

1 tbsp honey

2 cups boiling water

1 small (9.6 oz) box dried non-fat milk

Handful rose petals

1 bathtub large enough for two people

Combine the fresh herbs and citrus peels in a large bowl.  Add the boiling water over the herbs and peels.  Let it sit several hours or overnight.

Pour the mixture though a colander to remove solids. Stir in dried milk.

Fill the bathtub with warm water, and add the scented milk mixture. For a touch of luxury, sprinkle rose petals in the bath. Before draining the tub, use a strainer to remove the rose petals.

Enjoy the bath together, then rinse each other off in the shower.  Rub lotion or massage oil on each other. Follow with the perfect encore: fringe tickling.
